WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT IT:
Singita Lebombo Lodge is set between trees on a lush green hillside, and has views of a wilderness landscape that stretches across the N’wanetsi River and over the Kruger National Park as far as the eye can see.
Fifteen suites of stylish contemporary furnishings are the epitome of luxury with dark wood floors and stark white linen over huge beds and benches. Grass, wood, metal and glass all make up this stylish haven. A private deck is where guests marvel at animals that can be seen meters away traversing their natural habitat and drinking from the cool waters of the river below. Sleep spread out on the deck at night under the infinitely star-filled skies, while enjoying the relaxing sounds of the river below.
Twice-daily game drives through the Singita Reserve and along the base of the Lebombo Mountains reveal exhilarating sightings of the Big 5, amongst many other animals. Guided nature walks and mountain biking excursions offer intimate insights into the biodiversity of this protected land. Guests are encouraged to try their hand at the ancient art of archery, once used by early hunters, and swim in the cool lap pool. Finally, a meal prepared by the lodge chefs is served outside amongst the sounds of the crickets and natural nightlife.
Singita Lebombo comes with all the trimmings, including impeccable service. It also has a treatment spa, a library and satellite television. It is stylish and unparalleled, and we feel it is well worth a visit.
