WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT IT:

Nxabega Tented Camp is set under the shade of ancient ebony trees. Skilfully blended into their surroundings are nine exclusive tented suites, furnished for high levels of comfort, while offering an authentic safari luxury camping experience. The tents are raised above the ground on wooden platforms and offer panoramic views of the lush grasslands and intricate diversity of the Delta waterways.

Nxabega, meaning “Place of the Giraffe,” is perfectly positioned along the Delta for prime game spotting and bird watching. Giraffe, kudu, buffalo and lechwe as well as hippo are known to graze around camp. A central guest area is where you will find indoor and outdoor dining areas as well as a swimming pool to cool off in, after a day spent in the summer heat.

Day and night game drives and mokoro boat rides never disappoint with their exciting animal sightings. December to March also offers some fishing opportunities to catch bream, catfish, tiger fish, and many others.

Due to the authentic free roaming nature of the camp, security guards are on hand to escort guests round camp at night.
