For an unreal experience of real African predators, Mara Plains camp is the place to go. During most days one can hear lions roaring in the distance, have leopards wondering through the camp and cheetahs making their territory on the savanna nearby. Providing a unique and intimate wildlife experience, Mara Plains is in the heart of predator land in the Maasai Mara area.

The camp borders the North point of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, and has one of the highest ranges of activities in the Maasai Mara area. It also boasts some impressive wildlife-rich surrounding land, with excellent viewing and classic high-end safari hospitality. The camp prides itself on very personal and high quality service.

The camp has seven rooms, all are open-aired marquis tents with canvas canopy roofs, wooden floors and raised decks looking out over the savanna. The rooms are decorated with a rich East African feel, which stems from the history of the safari itself. The camp is nestled among the wild, on the banks of the river and is captivating on arrival.
