WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT IT:

Little Mombo is connected to its larger sister Mombo Camp by a raised boardwalk. Situated under a shady canopy, the lodge has three deluxe and spacious tented guest rooms. It offers guests fine dining in its own dining area, relaxed conversation in the lounge, and a cooling dip in the plunge pool, which is raised to look out over the floodplains giving you a good vantage point over the game drifting through it below.

The lodge may be called “Little” Mombo, but the game viewing opportunities here are huge. Large lion prides, herd of elephant, leopards, giraffe, zebra and spotted hyena are just a small list of what you could encounter. For birding enthusiasts the list of resident birds is endless. There are however no night game drives in the Moremi Game reserve, where Little Mombo is located.

This should by no means detract from your stay, as Little Mombo is one of the finest safari destinations available anywhere, and it is among the pioneers of the luxury safari offerings so popular with tourists travelling through Africa today.
