A group of my friends and I were looking for an African Adventure when we were recommended Robert Mark Safaris, and we were not disappointed. We had the most fabulous tour ever - Initially we spent a week in the beautiful Cape Town in an exclusive holiday residence at Camps Bay overlooking the sea. This would have to be one of the best holiday houses I have ever stayed in. A luxurious cliff-side mansion fit for a rock star and close to the action that Cape Town offers. It was the perfect place to Relax after we enjoyed day trips to Table Mountain, Stellenbosch Wine Region and the all too famous shark diving. The service & hospitality we received from the Robert Mark Safaris team were second to none and we could not be more thankful for making our holiday a memorable one that we look back on for a lifetime! Thanks again, and we cant wait to return in the future. Pierre

LUXURY TRAVEL TO CAPE TOWN
"This cape is the most stately thing and the fairest cape we saw in the whole circumference of the earth" - from the journal of Sir Francis Drake, on seeing the Cape in 1580.
The city of Cape Town is nestled between the very imposing flat-topped Table Mountain - reaching up behind the city into the clouds of the tablecloth - and the cold fresh waters of both the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans.
It is a cultural and creative melting pot of people with a rich and interesting history, as well as being a city with a strong focus on modernity. Voted as the number one city to visit in 2014 by the New York Times, this is truly a city that has something for everyone - incredible scenery, excellent hiking, interesting cultural activities, and great restaurants serving up high quality food and wine in tranquil settings at affordable prices.
During the summer months, visitors flock to some of the prettiest beaches anywhere on earth soaking up the late afternoon sunshine. Ellerman House is uniquely positioned on a ridge line in Bantry Bay to enjoy some of the best ocean views and world famous sunsets that Cape Town has to offer.
"THE" PLACE TO BE BETWEEN DECEMBER AND APRIL
Since coastal Cape Town receives its rainfall in winter, it is best visited during its summer months from December through to April, when reliably good weather brings long hot summer days with gin-clear blue skies, excellent days for spending lazy afternoons outdoors on the beach or at the pool, some of the world's best sunsets, and long warm evenings which are great for Cape Town's al-fresco dining scene.
If you are in the area we also highly recommend spending some time in the wine-lands and mountain areas nearby to Cape Town, found just a short hour's drive out of the city.
